“Professor Suarez is amazing!
As a current college student I wanted to get a heads up on learning Spanish prior to starting the course work during the semester. I found Novi after a little research on Google and knew that for her price, I would get an awesome deal. She’s extremely knowledgeable and professional, always punctual, well organized and easy to get a hold of. Having lessons over zoom allows me to work from anywhere and makes scheduling extremely easy. The textbook was extremely cheap and easy to read, plus her additional notes and in depth explanations makes understanding it even easier. Every lesson is personalized to my progress level and gears specifically towards my needs and proficiency. By working with Novi I’ve been able to attain a deeper understanding and appreciation for the Spanish language than I ever could in highschool or intermediate school. I knew definitively I made the right choice when during one specific lesson (about three months in), I started going back and forth between Spanish and English (also known as Span-glish) as I was thinking through a problem out loud. Professor Suarez praised me for becoming so proficient that I had begun to move in and out of the two languages without having intended to do so, but the true pat on the back belonged to her. My proficiency and confidence were because I was SO comfortable with her work and teachings. She was genuinely proud and highly supportive, a kind of person that is truly under-appreciated these days. Her dedication and commitment to her students is by far the best I have ever experienced across 12 years of general education, 4 years of undergrad, 2 years of military educational institutions, and 2 years of graduate school.
